ARIS Solutions is currently the business arm for Upper Valley Services, Inc. and Lincoln Street, Inc. ARIS Solutions is also managing contracts for the State's self-determination project as well as for the Vermont Peer Support Network. A distinctive feature of ARIS Solutions is that while it can be a business and contracting arm, it cannot, according to its By-laws, be a direct provider of services.

In this fashion, ARIS Solutions will not be in competition with its member organizations, but will function in ways which will assist the member organizations to achieve their own unique goals and purposes. In this way, the founders of ARIS Solutions believe that small organizations will be able to thrive in a climate which otherwise would be dominated by large corporations.

ARIS Solutions will continue to provide business support services on request to Vermont-based organizations that are interested in supporting individuals who are developmentally disabled. Additionally, ARIS Solutions will serve as a legitimate vehicle to advance the interests of persons with a developmental disability and their family members to increase the opportunity for self determination within Vermont's community system.

In the face of ever-increasing complexity and cynicism, ARIS Solutions seeks to promote "user-friendly" services and supports which will contribute to an individual's ability to define and then pursue individual life goals.
